ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research Kozhikode observed ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace’ on 9 December 2024 with a talk delivered by Dr. Baby Shari P.A, Professor in Psychology, University of Calicut, Malappuram on the topic ‘Gender and POSH at work place’. Dr Shari addressed various issues likely to be faced by women employees at any organisation, various committees to be formed at the institute level and the action to be taken by the employer to handle complaints, if any received. The programme began with a welcome note given by Dr. E. Jayashree, Principal Scientist, followed by the inaugural address delivered by Dr. R. Dinesh, Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode. More than 100 members of the institute representing scientist, students, technical and administrative staff attended the meeting.
